Paula Schatz

Director of Operations and Sales Maryland

Paula brings to Solutions Advisors more than 27 years of strategic marketing management from the hospitality and senior living industry. She has been actively involved in all areas of sales and marketing, including development and implementation of integrated marketing plans, strategic planning, advertising, direct mail, events, website management and community outreach.

During her time as Director of Marketing at Cadbury at Lewes, a non-profit CCRC, Paula and her team achieved an increase in independent living occupancy from 72% in 2009 to 90% in 2014. As Director of Community Relations for Brandywine Senior Living, a for-profit Assisted Living facility, Paula established the sales office and developed events, community outreach, and public relations opening this new community in 2008.

After relocating to Delaware, Paula embarked on a second career entering the senior living industry as Marketing Director for Methodist Manor House, a 40+ year-old non-profit CCRC.

Within her first career in the hospitality industry, Paula served as Executive Director of two Convention and Visitor Bureau’s in the Philadelphia region. Paula coaches others to achieve their potential by establishing rapport through honesty, loyalty and a willingness to be attentive; realizing that adding value to others enriches her life.

Paula After Hours...

Although no longer in the hospitality industry, Paula continues to enjoy travel to sun and sand destinations with her daughter and international destinations with her husband. She enjoys reading, having finally switched to a Kindle allowing her to broaden genres and authors. Paula volunteers in a variety of projects with the churches her husband serves as a minister.
