Mary brings over 12 years of experience in the senior living industry in addition to 20 plus years in the business world in a variety of industries. In the Operations Specialist role at Solvere Living, Mary will be responsible for onboarding and coaching new Executive Directors at Solvere communities as well as providing leadership coverage during Executive Director transitions to ensure achievement of company goals and objectives.
Most recently, Mary served as the Operations Specialist at Watercrest Senior Living Group. Prior to that role, she served in a variety of key roles in the senior living industry in Florida including Executive Director at several communities including Senior Lifestyle, Palm Garden and Eastbrooke Gardens Assisted Living. During her tenure at Eastbrooke and Grand Plams, Mary served on the FALA (Florida Assisted Living Association) board as Regional Director of Central Florida. In her role she lobbied for the improvement of state senior laws in congress, all the while continuing to improve the care, ambiance and entertainment of senior living while providing for a financially thriving environment for the investor.
Earlier in her career, Mary had the opportunity to work at her Dad’s Real Estate company and grow it to include real estate, mortgage and property management. In 2007, Mary managed a housing inventory of over 300 homes when her father suddenly passed away and later that year she sold the brokerage.
After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Business Administration, Mary immediately went to work for GE Financial Assurance who later relocated her to Richmond, Virginia. She obtained a GE Everest Award for saving the company 1.2 Million dollars in contractual advertising and was chosen to become one of Jack Welch’s first recipients of the Six Sigma Black Belt in an intangible industry. She also worked for other large companies including Capital One and Computer Associates.

Mary lives in central Florida with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family. She has two sons, one is happily married and her other son is a freshman at the University of South Florida.
